DESCRIPTION: The World Vision Aids Web Experience was created to accompany an equally impactful exhibit at Grand Central Station in New York City. We teamed up with Proxy Films on the staggeringly emotional narrative of life amidst the backdrop of AIDS in a third world country. The interactive narrative serves to show the visitor the struggle of life in the face of the deadly disease, its prevalence in third world countries, the perpetuation of the disease through myth and lack of education, and the ways in which we can help. Using a Flash-based personal narrative, striking photography, and powerful imagery, we give the visitor the tools they need to embark on a linear journey, experience the struggle, and identify the need.
