DESCRIPTION: As an award-winning advertising agency, R&D Thinktank wanted their site to be as creative as their work. So they came up with a rather clever concept: they wanted to store all of their content in a collection of fishbowls. Suffice it to say, a “well tabulated” rational user interface simply wouldn’t cut it.

The big trick was to develop an interface that was intuitive yet didn’t get in the way of the concept’s playfulness. So we put the bowls in a 3-D space and created a motion system that would keep the visitor engaged without being a headache to navigate. We also built in a number of coding efficiencies that helped speed up content and display loading so that no one short of the rare modem person would be left hanging while perusing the site, er, fishbowls.
