The Xerox
XGS Tour is a downloadable, installed application
that serves to provide the XGS sales teams
with an integrated, scalable sales enablement
solution for presenting multiple lines of
business to prospects and customers. The
XGS Tour features a unique Flash navigation
interface, designed to house various line-of-business
tours (also created by n-tara) for Xerox
Global Services. The interface is designed
to be scalable for addition of various industries
and is also scalable for multiple global
tours. The 'global' interface illustrates
the scope of XGS' services and allows the
user (an XGS sales representative) to quickly
navigate from a world view down to a specific
departmental function of a prospective customer,
and then to a very specific pain point.
Behind the scenes, the application uses
a custom administration tool and web server
that allows the sales rep to customize the
presentation for each individual prospect,
and the system tracks all activity, such
as number of presentations given, to whom,
stage of the sales cycle, and deal size.
Logic built into the application also restricts
the number of times the presentation can
be given before requiring an updated download.
This ensures that the sales reps are only
presenting the latest version of the XGS
Tour.
